Second time flying at Stepps!

Great Success getting the team out at Stepps!

We had an awesome turnout at Stepps park, getting the team out to fly, and just letting others know what StrathRC is all about! Our VP Lewis had his Finwing Traveller out successfully for the first time, after fighting a battle trying to find his optimum centre of gravity and getting his flaps to behave. The media manager Wiktor had his FPV racing quadcopter out and let the others have a go flying line of sight. Unfortunately it started raining. The team had to seek shelter for a little while but that didn’t let their spirit down as they were up and flying again in no time anyway.

The president, Max, had the Hubsan X4 flying out in the heavy winds also! This is a small quadcopter that is meant for indoor use, nevertheless, Max had a chance of mastering it flying outside. This led to some thoughtful conversation as to how the club should be run in the future.
